Fans of Marvel Studios better start looking at flights because a can’t-miss mega event is coming to life this August: “Marvel Studios’ Infinity Saga Concert Experience” at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA. It’s a night of music celebrating the saga—spanning 23 films and 11 years—that started with 2008’s Iron Man and ended with 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.
“You may think you’ve seen these stories before, but never like this,” says the Bowl site. “Join the Los Angeles Philharmonic as we embark together on a live concert and cinematic journey through the Marvel Infinity Saga—beginning with the Tesseract being hidden on Earth by the Asgardians all the way to Tony’s ultimate sacrifice—from an all-new perspective.”
The concert is being held on two nights: Friday, August 30 and Saturday, August 31, both at 8 p.m. PT. Tickets for this individual concert are not on sale yet—that happens on May 7—but if you want to buy a package of tickets to multiple concerts, there are options before then. Head to this page for more details.
Marvel tested the waters with live events back in 2021 when it did Black Panther in concert at the Bowl, but that was just the movie playing with live orchestral accompaniment. This sounds like it’s going to have music from, maybe not all the films, but most of them. Also, since the concert is taking place in Hollywood, you have to imagine there will be some surprises too.
